Is Firebrand Pottery Microwave Safe?
Yes, all Firebrand Pottery is microwave safe. In fact, we have a few items that when utilized in the microwave make your life easier like the egg baker and microwave plate (perfect for heating up leftovers).
Is Firebrand Pottery Oven Safe?
Yes it is! Think of it this way, our pottery was made by firing it in a kiln more than 2,300 degrees Fahrenheit, your home oven isn’t going to phase it!
Is Firebrand Pottery Dishwasher Safe?
Absolutely dishwasher safe! Our pottery is meant to be hard working and beautiful. Who wants to hand wash everything…no one!
Is Firebrand Pottery Durable?
Yes, our pottery is very durable, but of course it is pottery and it can break so use with care. Our families use our pottery every day and it handled by kids, thrown in the sink and dishwasher and used for cooking so we are confident you will love it and they will be lasting pieces. We jokingly tell people that it survived over 2,300 degrees being fired in a kiln; you basically can’t hurt it, but sadly it doesn’t bounce.
Is Firebrand Pottery Food safe?
Yes, our pottery is food safe and can also be used in the oven and microwave for baking and cleaned in the dishwasher.
Does your pottery contain any harmful ingredients?
All our products are 100% lead free and food safe.
SHIPPING QUESTIONS
When should I expect my order?
We usually pack your items within 1-2 business days and then once your items have shipped you will receive a shipping notification email with a tracking number and expected delivery date.
How do you package items so they don’t break during shipping?
Very carefully! We bubble wrap each item individually and use lots of packing peanuts. And we say a prayer.
My item arrived broken, what do I do?
If your item arrives broken, then email us at store@firebrandpottery.com within a week of receiving your item with a picture of the broken piece and your order number and we will take care of you.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do offer international shipping, but be aware that many times the shipping cost is greater than the cost of your items.
ORDERING QUESTIONS
I don’t see what I want on the website, does Firebrand do custom orders or make out-of-stock items?
Depending on the time of year, we can accommodate custom orders. Please note that for us to do a custom order the minimum is a $200 order and requires 50% down. At times of the year our production schedule is too full to work in custom orders, so it is best to reach out to us at 830-538-9705.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, just click this link for our gift cards.
Can I get a glaze sample before I place an order?
We do not send out glaze samples, but if stopping by our Castroville, TX store isn’t an option, then we suggest ordering a condiment bowl or shot glass / toothpick holder to see the glaze in real life. To browse our colors go here.
Do You Offer Returns and Exchanges?
Unfortunately, we are unable to do this.
